Salvador Dali Museum // St.Petersburg, Florida

I recently discovered the Dali Musuem in St.Petersburg, Florida. The museum, which measures about 68,000 square feet, houses the largest collection of the Dali’s work. Conceived by HOK, the design
is largely influenced by Dali’s spiral forms.

Maybe some of you are wondering why St.Petersburg? Apparently most of the Museum’s art was collected by an Ohio couple — A. Reynolds and Eleanor Morse, who were friends of Dali. The Morse collection, which amounts to about 100 pieces, eventually made its way to its new home in St.Petersburg.
