Here’s a bit of inspiration for you:

Sketchbook is a new quarterly online fashion illustration magazine run by Bahraini born Wafa Alobaidat, a self-funded 24 year old living in London who started the project in October 2009.

Experiencing fashion and art in her 5 years of living in London and through her blog Fashion Ambitions, Wafa always dreamed of buying a publication from the shelves rich with illustrations, drawings and images that celebrated young individuals’ talents. When she couldn’t find what she was looking for, for she created it herself, putting together a team of 150+ individuals who contributed and got involved with the first issue.

Currently working on their  3rd issue, the magazine showcases established and emerging creative talents in fashion, design and culture with a focus on features, photography and illustration.

Featuring original sketchbook graphics, exclusive interviews with scientists in jelly and photographers in Africa, we present our finds in a raw and exposed fashion. In Sketchbook, it’s not just about the product itself, but also about the beauty of the process of conceptualization, creation and appreciating the means to an end.

Check out the latest issue, shown above, here.
