Anatomica // The New English

I’ve been watching a lot of Six Feet Under recently, so when I saw these ceramics by The New English, I was instantly inspired!

Titled Anatomica, and designed by Lisa Turner, the ceramic designs really take on the spirit of 19th century anatomical drawings and science. Love them!

these are gorgeous. i would eat off these any day. so visual therapy, i’m wondering if we’ve met before. do you know reem al-asad? i met someone who was with her and they were discussing visual therapy, so it’s funny that this is my second encounter with it here in kuwait. anywhere else in the world i wouldn’t presume someone knew someone just by a subject matter 🙂 so please excuse my narrowmindedness!

I don’t think we’ve met officially, but I’ve heard and seen so much about your amazing work. Thank you so much for dropping by.. I don’t know Reem, but it’s nice to know people are talking about Visual Therapy!

Maybe someday we can do a collaboration between Ghada and Visual Therapy, would be wicked!

well it was lovely (and inspiring) looking at the goodies you have here :). as for being wicked, i can do that. by the way, two summers ago i watched the whole of six feet under in marathon-like fashion. it’s like eating too much candy and ending up with a belly ache. so be careful 🙂
