Hotel Recommendation // Witt Istanbul Suites

I love traveling, but who doesn’t? One of my favorite parts of traveling is the hotel. I admit, I am a hotel snob. So when Visual Therapy decided to vacation in Istanbul, I made sure that the hotel was exceptional in every way.

My choice, the Witt Istanbul Suites. Conveniently located in the Cinhangir district of Istanbul, dubbed the “Soho” of Istanbul, an area full of cute cafes and boutiques with a very bohemian vibe . This retro-hip hotel consists of 17 suites all furnished by Istanbul-based designers Autoban. All suites are fitted with a king size bedroom, living room, and kitchenette. The open plan of the suites makes them very spacious and bright. My favorite part of the suite? The beautiful Ross Lovegrove six head rain shower!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, they provided us with yummy lemonade, a map of the area, and directions to the hotel (in Turkish) for taxis. They also took care of any reservations we needed to make.

As far as food goes, the breakfast was fresh, organic, and home made. Other cool perks include a free DVD rental library in the lobby, ipod docks and Nespresso machines in the room, and free wireless internet access.

Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. Especially cute for couples. It’s a short walk to Taksim square and Istiklal Street, and pretty central to many of Istanbul’s districts. A must-stay next time you’re in Istanbul!

Oh my goodness, I am feeling so envious of your stay at this hotel. Also, I am suddenly craving lemonade. The bedroom is gorgeous and I love the walls, they are so cool!
