London-based Slinkachu started the The Little People Project in 2006. In an aim to encourage people to be more aware of their surroundings, he created mini installations using remodeled and painted miniature model train set characters. The characters are then placed on the streets in different situations that are captured in photographs.

“The scenes I set up, aim to reflect the loneliness and melancholy of living in a big city, almost being lost and overwhelmed. But underneath this, there is always some humor.”  Slinkachu
