Berghain // Berlin

Berlin is the ultimate destination for all electronic music lovers. It also has some of the greatest clubs I have ever been to. The Berghain is a Berlin nightclub that is not to be missed!

A former power station, with interiors that are purely minimal made up of steel and concrete and 18m ceilings. An outdoor area is open in the summer. The music is minimal and techno, and all the who’s who of techno have played there.

Photography is not allowed, and it’s pretty obvious why. The club is full of secret dark rooms and hidden areas, and the attitude is pretty much anything goes. So don’t be surprised to see some “unusual” activities happening right in front everyone! Hedonism and decadence at its best!

Some people I met say they entered the Berghain Saturday night and didn’t leave till Monday morning! The 2nd floor of the Berghain is the Panorama Bar. It is decorated with huge Wolfgang Tillmans photographs and tall windows with a great view of East Berlin!

So the next time you visit Berlin, be sure to check out the Berghain. Its an experience you will never forget!
