Minimal Desert // AlOthman

March 30, 2009
by

After endless afternoons of stringing and pasting, my display is finally up! My inspiration was the Sahara desert. Large papier-mache structures that resemble tumbleweed were hung and randomly placed on bare metallic branches. The result is a modern yet minimal approach to the desert theme. The colors reflect the spring and summer fashion colors with greens, purples, and yellows. I’m extremely happy with the finished display, and definitely will continue to post about my endeavors at work regularly.

You can view the display at AlOthman, located in the basement of Mariam Complex in Salmiya, Kuwait.
